You started your micro agency to build a profitable, values-driven business that fits your lifestyle—only to find it WAY more complicated and challenging than expected.
Some days, it even feels like your business is out to get you because:
- You’re reacting instead of leading as you spend your days putting out fires with your team and clients.
- You’ve got a team, but deep down, you’re not sure if they’re the right fit—or if they’re holding you back.
- You want a clear path to meeting your business and personal financial goals, but feel like you’re burning cash as you grow.
- You’re overwhelmed by everything you could do to grow and but struggle with knowing where to focus and what actually matters.
- You want to pursue higher-level contracts, but you’re not confident that your positioning is solid enough or that your proposal will even get a second glance.
Unfortunately, there’s no manual on exactly how to build, let alone grow, a micro agency.
Everything out there is meant for a big, traditional agency or is taught by bros in backward baseball caps who make sleazy promises about how fast you can scale.
That advice is all wrong for you, especially since you want to stay strategically small.
You need something different. You need guidance explicitly designed for you as a micro agency owner that’s not a rigid step-by-step blueprint or something that goes against your values.
Let’s be real.
Being a micro agency owner can be lonely. Your team relies on you as a leader, and you’re trying to keep it together no matter what’s happening behind the scenes.
But where do you go when you need support with real-life situations with your team, clients and operations?
The Micro Agency Mastermind is your space to get the support you need to tackle the challenges of running a micro agency, from tricky client dynamics to managing your team and operations to figuring out your growth path.
It’s where you’ll solidify what you’ve already built and pave the way for sustainable success with one-on-one support AND a community that’s got your back every step of the way.
The Micro Agency Momentum Model
This isn’t another bullshit copy-and-paste ‘build your agency to 7-figures fast’ framework.
The Micro Agency Momentum Model helps micro agency owners zero in on key business areas to fuel sustainable, intentional growth. It gives you practical steps to build momentum without burning yourself out.
Best of all, it’s about doing it in a way that works for you so you can:
Build and lead a team you trust so you can stop micromanaging or worrying about the quality of their work.
Grow your micro agency without leaving you overwhelmed or buried in work so you can actually enjoy what you’re doing.
Make hard choices for you and your team as you grow and navigate all of it without it turning into a total shit show.
Optimizing pricing and reducing inefficiencies can boost your profit margins and grow your revenue without adding more work or stress.
Proactively manage your team’s capacity and capabilities so you’re ready for the future of your micro agency instead of just winging it and hoping it all works out.
Hey, I’m Maggie
And I’ve spent my entire career in the agency world.
Not even kidding. I spent the early years of my career climbing the ranks in a fast-paced, high-growth PR agency, going from an inexperienced account coordinator to an account director managing large budgets, high-profile clients and a team.
When I started freelancing nearly twenty years ago, I saw firsthand how different agencies operated—some good, some bad, and some downright chaotic. That experience shaped how I run Scoop Studios today, my boutique content production agency serving B2B tech and professional services companies.
I’ve lived through the most significant growing pains that plague most micro agency owners, balancing having way too much work to do while trying to lead, feeling overwhelmed AF by capacity constraints, dealing with financial ups (and downs), and the pressure to keep growing when you’re already so freakin’ tired.
More importantly, unlike other agency mentors with only experience running their agency and no corporate background, my approach is firmly rooted in the real world. I know how to build a micro agency that works with corporate clients—not just other online business owners.
When you work with me, there’s no flashy promises or fluff. I focus on strategies that help you grow your micro agency in a way that aligns with your lifestyle and business needs without chasing endless growth.
Here’s What Your
Experience Looks Like
The mastermind is a 12-month experience that starts in January 2025. During our time together, here’s what you can expect:
A Typical Quarter
Group Gathering
Every quarter, we gather as a group to dive deep into your business. This includes two virtual retreats and two in-person retreats so you can work on the business alongside your peers.
Quarterly Workshop
Each quarter, Maggie leads a new workshop focused on elements of the Micro Agency Momentum Model. These workshops are designed to be highly actionable.
Leadership Office Hours
In this session with our in-house leadership coach, Bekka Prideaux, and my agency’s second in command, Sara Freeburn, you can get answers to your leadership questions, from how to have this difficult conversation to what should my next hire be.
Operations Office Hours
Bring your burning operations questions for expert input from our Operations Consultants Tressa Beheim and Sara Freeburn. They’ll give you strategic counsel so you can get unstuck.
A Month in the Life
The mastermind is a group experienced with hands-on support from me every step of the way.
Every month in the Agency Micro Agency Mastermind, you’ll have:
1:1 Calls with Maggie
You’ll get monthly calls with me, during which we’ll work together on your business. You set the agenda, and we’ll make magic happen in minutes so you can make big things happen in your business. (11 monthly calls are included, and each call is 30 minutes.)
Live Hot Seat Call
A monthly group coaching call with mastermind style “hot seats” to focus on your specific issues that month and develop a winning way forward. (This is always a mastermind favorite as you get unstuck and into action!)
Workshop or Office Hours
You’ll have an office hours or workshop call each month, during which you can get personalized guidance on everything from team management to strategic growth challenges.
As a member of this mastermind, there’s no more going it alone, as you get support on a day-to-day basis with:
Voxer Access to Maggie
I’m here to help you, which means I’m accessible via Voxer, a voice and text app. You can share documents, ask questions, think out loud, and get direct access to me. There’s no need to go it alone or stay stuck when I’m just a Voxer away.
Slack Community
A big part of the mastermind is collaborating with other agency owners in a small, intimate setting. The Slack group is the perfect place to bring your challenges for feedback and get cheered on as you progress in your business.
911 Calls
Hello, 911. This is a business emergency! Let’s face it: Sometimes, things get a little sticky, or you just need to talk it out. That’s where your 911 calls come in, and you have up to four to use with Maggie throughout the year.
Meet Your
Support Team
As a micro agency owner, your business has multiple layers, which means you need support on multiple fronts. You’ll get support not just from me but also from my support team.
Operations Office Hours
Sara Freeburn
My right hand at Scoop and BS-Free Business, Sara, will be co-hosting operation office hours. At Scoop, she's the Client Services Director, so she knows what your customers wish you knew and the ins and outs of your business's operations side.
Before Scoop, Sara spent 15+ years in marketing, training, and operations roles with well-known financial services and telecommunications brands in the corporate world.
Tressa Beheim
Tressa is a project manager, back-office coordinator, and people wrangler who knows product development and online marketing. She acts as the COO in her client's businesses, going beyond the typical Online Business Manager role.
With nearly a decade of experience in operations and online business, Tressa will bring her know-how to your team and ops challenges.
Leadership Office Hours
Bekka Prideaux
Bekka Prideaux is my leadership coach and has been instrumental in my leadership growth in recent years. With years of corporate experience building and leading teams, she brings a unique point of view to how we lead as agency owners.
In the Micro Agency Mastermind, you'll receive hands-on support from Bekka on your team's challenges, building a culture, hiring, and much more.
2025 Live Retreat Details
In-person retreats are where the real magic happens—you’ll forge stronger bonds with me and your peers and dive into the raw, unfiltered conversations about business and life you won’t find anywhere else.
Plus, you’ll experience major breakthroughs when you realize you’re not the only one facing challenges and are never alone on your micro agency journey.
Please note: In-person retreats are entirely optional. If you choose to attend, you’ll cover your travel, lodging and food

“I love Maggie's no-BS approach to building a micro agency. Having direct access and support from Maggie is exactly what I needed. Every piece of advice is specific to the situation, not a generic canned response. Plus, being in a smaller community creates a tight-knit group where ideas, knowledge sharing, and support happen organically.
Personally, I love being able to get a gut check on big business decisions. Maggie is present and active in serving her mastermind. Plus, the tools and resources that are available have helped me be more organized in operating my business, growing my team, and being clear on the direction we are going.
This mastermind is for any micro agency owner who wants to implement a sustainable and profitable structure for growth.”
— Katie Holt,
Lead Smart Girl, Smart Girl Digital
“I've worked with other coaches and been in programs, but they were a little too general. I'm a big believer in getting help for your specific industry/niche, and this mastermind was a perfect fit, since it's other women micro agency owners.
What I like best about being in this mastermind is the quality of the other members. All the women are established biz owners and face similar issues to me. Maggie has really seen it all (she's experienced almost all our same challenges) provides guidance based on personal experience. The monthly calls and access to Maggie's brain make all the difference.
This is the best group I've ever been in. I love that it’s a small niched group with a holistic business focus — leadership, systems, business development, and more.”
— Julie Fry,
CEO & Founder, Your Expert Guest
“I wanted to get in with a community of women who were building micro agencies and who could offer a mutually beneficial and brave space for both learning and support. My business has grown exponentially over the past few years in revenue, profit, team, and influence, and I knew that whether I wanted to maintain what I had or to grow it, I couldn't go at it alone and with what I had in my toolkit. I needed a community of like-minded people on the same path and who were also further along.
What I’ve enjoyed the most about being part of this group is the accuracy of feedback and advice. The community has been invaluable, and when I needed to make a huge business transition, the safety and openness that both the members of the mastermind and Maggie offered was incredible.
Being in this mastermind made me brave enough to make a huge decision that I could have carried on for another year or two.”
— AdeOla Fadumiye,
Founder + Director of Production, Crys & Tiana
“I wanted a community of micro agency owners to share struggles with and support one another. I’d previously done a few business intensives with Maggie and they were so practical and actionable.
The workshops in the mastermind were really great and kept me thinking about strategic questions in my business. Having Voxer access to Maggie when things were tough made a huge difference, and the Slack group for getting support, cheering each other on, and learning from other business owners was outstanding.
Having outside support as a solo founder is invaluable. The group has made me feel less alone and getting advice on practical/tactical and strategic questions has helped my business.
What makes this mastermind different is the small, personal community. You're not just a number in a 'one to many' offer. You actually get the chance to build relationships. I love the intimacy and size of the group, plus the practical, tactical nature of this mastermind - there's access to practical tools and templates along with advice and support.”

Founder, Made Manifest Inc.
